Our story

Founded in 2019, Brew 61 is an award-winning 10 BBL micro-brewery based on the family's farm in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
The farming environment has always been the inspiration behind the beers, most of which are named after the farm’s location and its herd of Highland Cows and flock of Dorset sheep. Brew 61 has aptly become known as “The Beer Farm”.

There are currently 11 beers in the Brew 61 portfolio including Grazing Girls, Light Ale; Lager; Greenfields Gold, Session Ale; Hazy Bale Ale, Hazy IPA, and Full Rye Tirement, Collab Rye IPA
At the beginning of the brewing process malted barley is added to hot water and the sugars in the barley are broken down. This produces the wort (a sugared solution) which is then fermented to produce the beer. The by product (spent barley grains) are then fed to our herd of Highland Cows (our grazing girls)

“We know people like our beers from the positive feedback we receive but having industry recognised endorsement is the icing on the cake. We are all incredibly proud to have come such a long way in such a short space of time.”
Tim Dunkley, Brew 61
